Job Description
Join Lifepoint Rehabilitation as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) PRN, where you'll provide essential therapeutic services to improve patients' communication and swallowing functions in an acute care setting. Key Responsibilities
Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
Document patient care in accordance with regulatory and accrediting requirements
Communicate patient progress to supervisor and other team members
Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
Handle responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a master's level program in Speech Language Pathology
Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
Minimum of six months speech therapist experience with adult and geriatric population
Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license
Current CPR certification
Strong organizational and communication skills
