Key Responsibilities
Ensure and deliver high quality, patient-centered care during designated shifts
Assist with admission and discharge processes
Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care services
Collaborate with management team to support improved outcomes and service
Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery
Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient care needs
Support proper inventory control and manage supplies and equipment
Required Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (must be obtained within 18 months of employment)
Registered Nurse (RN) license
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support or Instructor (must be obtained within 30 days)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support or Instructor (must be obtained within 30 days)
Minimum of 1 year RN experience in the Emergency Department required
Charge RN experience required
