Job Description
Join our compassionate team as a Medical Assistant in the Oncology/Hematology Clinic, where you'll support patient care and contribute to a collaborative environment. Your role will involve patient assessments, documentation, and maintaining safety protocols, all while helping to achieve the clinic's goals.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborates in the clinic workflow and assesses patients and significant others
Documents subjective and objective data according to policy
Demonstrates effective patient safety techniques and infection control
Works as part of the clinic team to achieve daily objectives
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
BLS certification within 90 days of hire
Active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA) for Certified Medical Assistant
Preferred Qualifications
6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office
