Job Description
Join Kaiser as a Chemical Dependency Recovery Counselor III, where you'll provide essential services and psychotherapy to individuals and families facing addiction challenges. Key Responsibilities
Answers and triages patient calls for information and crisis calls
Provides higher level assessment for various diagnoses
Performs intake and psychosocial assessments
Develops and presents treatment plans
Participates in clinical case conferences
Conducts educational lectures
Provides general chemical dependency counseling
Facilitates therapy for adolescents, families and significant others
Provides case management services
Mentors CDRP/S Counselors I and II, student interns, and candidates
Required Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years post graduate relevant supervised addiction medicine therapy experience within the last five (5) years
Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or other field related to behavioral health
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California)
