About the Role:

We are seeking a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for the PM shift. This role involves providing high-quality patient care to a diverse population, monitoring cardiac telemetry, and ensuring smooth recovery for patients requiring continuous monitoring and medical-surgical care. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, experience with telemetry, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit, monitoring vital signs and telemetry readings
• Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and assist with treatment plans
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Accurately document patient information in EPIC or other EMR systems
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Active RN License in CA (Required)
• BLS & ACLS Certifications (Required)
• Minimum 1-2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience (Preferred)
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring & EKG interpretation
• Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and time management skills
