Job Description
Join Good Samaritan as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where you will provide compassionate care and support to residents in a long-term care environment. Play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors while enjoying flexible PRN scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing
Obtain and record vital signs
Provide psychosocial support and personal care
Assist residents with meals and snacks
Document resident interactions and care outcomes
Communicate resident's changing condition to charge nurse
Provide housekeeping and laundry services
Encourage resident participation in wellness and recreational programs
Required Qualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Minimum age of 16
Long Term Care Experience (3 months required, 6 months preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
High school graduate or GED
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care
