Key Responsibilities
Evaluate clients for medical conditions and provide treatment
Provide comprehensive primary care services including histories, exams, and diagnoses
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Prescribe medication and formulate treatment plans
Educate clients about health conditions and preventative measures
Collaborate with mental health clinicians
Maintain medical records accurately
Required Qualifications
Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in New York State
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by New York State Education Department (NYSED)
More than 3,600 hours of clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a community setting
Spanish, Russian, or Creole/French language skills
