Job Description
Join Kaiser as a CDRP Counselor II, where you will provide vital psycho-social services to health plan members struggling with chemical dependencies. With a focus on counseling and treatment planning, your expertise will make a significant impact on patients' recovery journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct interviews to assess the extent and effects of chemical dependency
Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and HIV risk assessment
Participate in team discussions for treatment planning
Prepare psycho-social assessments and maintain confidential records
Utilize resources from public and private agencies for patient needs
Maintain ethical and professional standards
Required Qualifications
Minimum of five years paid experience under licensed supervision
If in chemical dependency recovery, a minimum of three years continuous sobriety is required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Alcohol/Other Drug Counselor - Clinical Supervisor Certification (California) OR Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor Certificate (California) OR Licensed Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor (California)
