Job Description
Join Zen Educate as a Teacher Aide in Special Education, where you will provide essential classroom support to students with specialized needs. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact while collaborating with teachers and enhancing student engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) or Individualized Education Plan (IEPs)
Provide one-on-one or small group support
Collaborate with teachers for a positive learning environment
Communicate with teachers, parents, and staff for effective support
Assist with personal care or hygiene as needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
English proficiency
U.S. work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Special Education, particularly with moderate to severe behaviors
ABA Therapy experience
Behavior Technician experience
Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies
CPR and First Aid
CPI or Pro Act Training
