Key Responsibilities

  • Provide management oversight for multiple nursing neighborhoods
  • Assist the Director of Nursing as needed
  • Promote a collaborative approach with healthcare disciplines
  • Analyze problems and offer recommendations
  • Investigate unusual situations/incidents
  • Communicate events requiring administrative attention
  • Conduct investigations of incident occurrences
  • Develop and implement infection prevention and control programs
  • Lead the facility's Infection and Prevention Control Committee
  • Participate in the facility's QAA Committee

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing
  • Current RN license in the state you will be working
  • Three to four years of recent nursing experience
  • Demonstrated administrative and supervisory competency
  • Communication, organization, and planning skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent
  • Completed specialized training in infection prevention and control
  • One year management experience
