Job Description
Join Albany Medical Center's dynamic Nursing team as a Clinical Nurse III in the Critical Care Float Pool. You will provide exceptional care in a Level I trauma center, working collaboratively to create a compassionate environment for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Implement physician orders and administer medications
Start IVs and perform treatments and special tests
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
Assess and evaluate patient needs
Provide primary and emergency care
Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care
Guide ancillary personnel and maintain nursing standards
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a professional academic nursing program
Current NYS Registered Nurse license
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational and time-management skills
