Job Title: Locum to Perm Physician - Otolaryngology

Join a dynamic team at a leading medical center in Des Moines, Iowa, seeking a full-time Locum to Perm Otolaryngologist to meet the needs of the community. This facility is committed to providing top-notch healthcare services, emphasizing patient care with a focus on collaboration and excellence. With 36 patient contact hours weekly and a supportive team environment, you'll have the opportunity to thrive in a teaching-oriented setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient and outpatient otolaryngology services.
• Conduct clinic hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
• Participate in an on-call schedule as required.
• Manage a daily patient volume of 30 or more with a 15-minute appointment length.
• Oversee a 1:1 physician-to-nurse ratio and ancillary staff per provider.
• Perform all ENT-related procedures offered in the practice.
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical recordkeeping.
• Engage in teaching opportunities within the practice.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Otolaryngology (Required)
• Active Iowa Medical License or Active IMLC (Required)
• Availability for full-time commitment (Required)
• Significant experience in the field (Required)
• Clean malpractice and background history (Required)
