Key Responsibilities
Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard and preventive maintenance
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems
Coach and mentor other technicians
Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
Utilize diagnostic computers/software
Perform facility maintenance duties
Work in accordance with all compliance guidelines
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Basic tools required
Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
Routine preventative maintenance experience
Diagnostics and repairs experience
Advanced skilled level repairs experience
Four (4) years or more relevant work experience
All other certification as required by location
Preferred Qualifications
Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A
ASE Certification in PM, Brakes, A/C, electrical, Electronics or ASE Master Mechanic
