Job Description

As a Fleet Shop Manager at XPO, you'll lead a maintenance team, ensuring equipment is well-maintained and operations run smoothly. You'll play a vital role in fostering a safe and productive work environment while utilizing your expertise to drive team success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle maintenance team employees, including hiring and training
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and out-of-service equipment
  • Facilitate the Job Selection/Shift Bid process
  • Ensure routine maintenance functions and accurate closing of work orders
  • Manage shop cycle counts and inventory levels
  • Review and analyze trends in parts utilization and efficiency
  • Monitor shop for safety, quality, and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures and policies

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance
  • A valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree
  • Current ASE certifications
  • Current CDL
  • Less-than-Truckload (LTL) experience
  • Available to work a variety of shifts
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to lead and motivate others
  • Excellent time management skills
