Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineering leaders to create project plans for space hardware and software
Drive engineering project execution and resolve blocking issues
Act as the point of contact for mechanical hardware teams
Communicate plans and status to executive management
Organize project and team meetings to focus design teams
Drive postmortem learning and improvements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in optical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field
5+ years of hardware, software, system integration and test development of complex systems
2+ years in a technical lead, systems engineer, or technical program management role
2+ years leading cross-functional teams delivering products on schedule
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in optical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field
Experience with high volume manufacturing test methods
Ability to lead interdisciplinary discussions
Experience developing high-performance systems for aerospace applications
Experience in automated testing and system characterization
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Track record of delivering complete systems on time
Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
High sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
