Key Responsibilities
Oversee behavioral care and pathway planning for animals
Ensure high-quality, low-stress patient care
Develop and oversee behavioral diagnosis and treatment plans
Lead and mentor behavior staff
Collaborate on research projects related to animal behavior
Manage and cultivate relationships with team leaders
Provide subject matter expertise on behavioral health
Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in people management
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
Maintain an open mind regarding changes
Comfortable with humane euthanasia decisions
Fear Free certified within 6 months of hire
Ability to work additional hours, weekends, and cover shifts
