Job Description
Join Gulfstream Aerospace as an Avionics/Electrical Technician II where you will utilize your technical expertise to ensure aircraft systems operate efficiently. Your role will involve testing, troubleshooting, and repairing avionics systems while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise in testing aircraft systems
Troubleshoot and repair system discrepancies
Perform installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components
Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations
Conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance
Document all work performed on the aircraft
Comply with safety regulations and company programs
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Four years of experience in avionics/electrical career field
Or two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license
FCC certification
NCATT certification
Proficiency in operation and troubleshooting of other aircraft systems
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams
