Job Description
Join our team as a Surgical Technician, where you'll play a vital role in assisting surgical operations and ensuring patient safety and comfort in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures
Sets up surgical instruments and equipment, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions
Follows hospital regulations and industry procedures for patient care
Performs pre-operation preparations on patients
Assembles and checks both sterile and non-sterile equipment
Prepares patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and disinfecting incision sites
Transports patients to the operating room and assists with positioning
Observes patients' vital signs and assists the surgical team
Passes instruments and supplies to surgeons
Operates sterilizers and diagnostic equipment
Cleans and restocks the operating room after procedures
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
Certified to perform CPR
0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field
