Required Qualifications
Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and personal computer
Possess a full complement of personal hand tools
U.S. citizen
Current documented trailer mechanic experience
Must be at least 21 years of age
Proficient at operating standard transmission vehicles
Compliant with DOT and Company requirements
Understanding of FMCSA requirements and ability to pass an annual PM certification
Safely perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury
Advanced knowledge of a vehicle, its electrical system, and mechanisms of a diesel engine
In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms
Superior knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment
Basic knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics
Preferred Qualifications
Fleet, diesel, and gas experience or trade school training
