Perform diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment Interview patients to obtain, verify or update medical history Explain procedures to patients including side effects and risks Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images Review images and communicate data to radiologist Provide physician-prescribed post care instructions to patients Participate in process improvement activities Provide imaging education to residents and new employees Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Computed Tomography (CT) preferred American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training One or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology or advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
