Introduction: This position is limited to current Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services, Human Resources Services Division (HRSD) employees only. This posting will be used to fill multiple vacancies.

LOCATION OF POSITION: Somerset County, Washington County
Main Purpose of Job: The position provides managerial oversight to three regional operational support units and provides leadership for the Department’s agency-wide program initiatives. The position manages all HR services within the state, providing guidance and direction to management, supervisors, and employees.
Experience: Eight years of experience, with four years of professional HR experience involving recruitment and employment services, classification and compensation, employee relations, test development and validation, job analysis, job evaluation, salary administration, HR program evaluation, or HR policy formulation, and an additional four years of professional experience in HR management work in areas such as recruitment and selection, classification, salary administration, employee relations, test development and validation, or as a generalist.
