Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement orientation program for employees
Conduct General Orientation incorporating relevant regulations
Coordinate and monitor orientation activities
Develop lesson plans and conduct in-service programs
Implement infection prevention and control programs
Provide education to staff, residents, and families
Participate in continuous quality improvement activities
Serve as a resource for Managers regarding staff development needs
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Current RN license in the state of employment
CPR/AED certification required or willing to obtain
Minimum of five years of recent clinical nursing experience required
Ability to manage time and organize daily schedule
Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and other programs
Preferred Qualifications
BSN or related baccalaureate preparation in education
Certified as a CPR instructor
Certified as an Instructor for the Missouri Nurse Assistant Training program
Educational and supervisory/management experience
Previous experience in long-term care
