Key Responsibilities
Provide critical care intensive support for all patients admitted
Perform professional services to assure quality of care
Provide consultation to Medical Staff
Facilitate and manage the appropriate use of specialists
Complete records and reports in accordance with policies
Provide orientation and training for the healthcare team
Participate in medical staff conferences and education programs
Serve as the Subspecialty Education Coordinator for Internal Medicine residency program
Report concerns about quality of care and patient services
Promote good public relations on behalf of the hospital
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
Completion of an accredited ACGME or AOA Internal Medicine Residency
Completion of a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship
Board-certified or eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care
Valid license to practice medicine in the State of California
