Join Alameda Health System as a Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician, where you will provide expert, patient-centered care in acute and intensive care settings. You'll collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality treatment and lead educational programs for medical residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide critical care intensive support for all patients admitted
  • Perform professional services to assure quality of care
  • Provide consultation to Medical Staff
  • Facilitate and manage the appropriate use of specialists
  • Complete records and reports in accordance with policies
  • Provide orientation and training for the healthcare team
  • Participate in medical staff conferences and education programs
  • Serve as the Subspecialty Education Coordinator for Internal Medicine residency program
  • Report concerns about quality of care and patient services
  • Promote good public relations on behalf of the hospital

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
  • Completion of an accredited ACGME or AOA Internal Medicine Residency
  • Completion of a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship
  • Board-certified or eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care
  • Valid license to practice medicine in the State of California
  • Valid DEA license
