Job Title: Invasive Cardiology RN
Shift Details:
Schedule: Day 4x10-Hour (06:00 AM - 04:00 PM)
Will work 2 of 3 major holidays, with no time off approved between Christmas and New Year’s.
Role Overview:
This position requires a skilled and experienced RN to work in an invasive cardiology environment, which includes EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab competencies. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting, ensuring all patients receive the best possible treatment.
Schedule Requirements:
- Day shift: 8-hour or 10-hour shifts between 6 AM - 7 PM
- Must be available for weekends and holidays as needed
- Required to stay until the last patient is cared for
- Call may be required
Unit Information:
The invasive cardiology unit consists of:
- 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs
- 2 dedicated Electrophysiology labs
- 23 prep/recovery bays
- Over 6,000 procedures completed annually
Advanced cardiovascular treatments offered include:
- Complex coronary procedures
- Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) and ECMO
- Structural heart procedures (TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping)
- Complex atrial and ventricular ablations
- Pacemaker/ICD implantation and explanation
- Cardioversion
- Pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation
- Peripheral intervention
- Pulmonary embolectomy procedures
Qualifications:
Minimum Experience: 2 years in an invasive cardiology setting
Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- EPIC experience required
Additional Requirements:
- Must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients
- Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
Additional Information:
RTO: Maximum of 7 days.
Local Rate: $5 less than posted base rate.
Client prefers minimum RTO of 7 days; no license hits accepted; hard stop local radius of 50 miles.
EPIC experience heavily preferred. Travel pairs are accepted, but matched schedules cannot be guaranteed.
