Key Responsibilities
Support and train veterinarians in high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter techniques
Oversee and monitor medicine and surgery at the ASPCA’s veterinary clinics
Provide compassionate, quality preventive care to patients
Coach veterinarians on effective client communication
Ensure positive workplace culture through regular feedback and support
Required Qualifications
Current California State Veterinary License
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary college
Minimum one year of experience in high quality, high volume spay/neuter
Minimum three years veterinary experience in small animal medicine and surgery
Demonstrate true leadership abilities in challenging situations
Ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced clinic environment
Fear Free® Shelter certification required within 60 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Previous people management experience strongly preferred
