Key Job Details – ER RN Travel Assignment

• Location: Holyoke, MA 01040 – Pioneer Valley, Western Massachusetts (90 miles west of Boston)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, includes 30-minute lunch)
• Setting: Emergency Department, including locked behavioral health unit
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing (W2)

Estimated Weekly Pay

• Estimated weekly pay: $1,860 - $2,000

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license (MA emergency and pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment completed (first-time travelers considered; indicate status)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI (on-site training provided), PALS
• Preferred: TNCC, ENPC or PALSS
• Preferred: Previous charge nurse experience and Trauma Level I experience

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, including adults and pediatrics
• Perform triage, assessment, and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Administer and monitor procedural and continuous IV sedation
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
• Care for ventilated patients and respond to rapid response situations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy
• Provide care within a locked behavioral health unit (12-bed capacity)
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in 28-hour orientation and ongoing professional development
