Join Lincoln Electric as a Designer/Drafter and play a critical role in supporting our Plant Engineering team. You'll be responsible for 3D modeling and 2D drafting, collaborating with engineers to implement capital projects and enhance our manufacturing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Engineers in creating/modifying 3D models and manufacturing drafts
Reverse engineer components from physical parts or legacy drawings
Create, modify, and store electronic files using document management systems
Assist in developing and maintaining templates and schematics
Maintain mechanical CAD procedures and standards
Support internal and external fabrication by creating supporting files
Document existing production and facility support equipment
Assume additional responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a High School Education or GED
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in design and drafting
Technically proficient in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience with data management systems (PDM/PLM)
Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft software applications
Highly motivated to learn 3D CAD drafting
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Organized and detail oriented
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Exposed to machine shop or metal manufacturing processes
Self-motivated with a high level of ownership
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
