Key Responsibilities
Oversee and monitor medicine and surgery at the ASPCA’s CVC
Train veterinarians in HQHVSN techniques and medical protocols
Support a positive work culture through regular coaching and feedback
Perform spay/neuter surgical procedures and provide veterinary care
Triage and refer cases not within Community Medicine parameters
Schedule staff veterinarians for optimal coverage
Required Qualifications
Current California State Veterinary License
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary college
Minimum three years veterinary experience in small animal medicine and surgery
Minimum one year of experience in high quality, high volume spay/neuter
Demonstrate true leadership abilities in challenging situations
Excellent work attendance record

Previous people management experience
