Job Description
Join SharkNinja as a Senior Manager of Product Development in Haircare, where you'll lead product innovation from concept to market. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a consumer-first approach and drive the success of key products in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Shark business with developing successful and profitable programs for key products.
Lead, manage, and grow team members, providing guidance and accountability.
Define and develop product specifications that align with consumer needs.
Develop user-relevant design targets for product performance and user experience.
Collaborate with Insights & Intelligence team to implement consumer feedback.
Partner with quality organizations to define and manage testing procedures.
Manage product cost structure and collaborate with supply chain teams.
Oversee go-to-market collateral for product launches.
Provide direction for product troubleshooting and FAQs.
Act as product expert for cross-functional team inquiries.
Lead larger cross-functional projects that enhance visibility and career growth.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, human factors engineering, or a related field, preferably at a consumer goods company.
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering or a combination of the above.
Prior experience hiring, managing, leading, and goal setting with team members.
A consumer-first perspective when introducing new products/processes or improving current products.
Ability to effectively manage up by communicating top priorities and seeking feedback.
Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building across multi-functional teams.
Strong communication skills – both written and in-person.
Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
