Key Responsibilities
Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, and styling
Operate and maintain grooming instruments
Monitor pets for signs of discomfort or illness
Provide optimal customer service to pet parents
Maintain a clean and safe grooming area
Required Qualifications
Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco or previous experience as a professional groomer
Expert knowledge of various dog breeds and grooming requirements
Strong attention to detail
Capable of handling pets of all sizes and temperaments
Preferred Qualifications
High-school diploma or GED
Completion of a technical grooming training program
Strong verbal and written communication skills
