Job Summary:
A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is needed for a 13-week contract within a skilled nursing facility setting. This role guarantees 30 hours per week and requires the ability to begin as soon as possible. The COTA will support occupational therapy services, assist with treatment plans, and help patients achieve functional goals under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care following established therapy plans.
• Assist in implementing therapeutic activities to improve patients’ daily living and functional skills.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the therapy team to adjust care plans as needed.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all patients.

Requirements:

• Active state COTA license.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work a variable schedule as needed.
