Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scan images
  • Produce quality computed tomography exam images
  • Provide patient care and initiate life support measures as necessary
  • Interact effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare workers
  • Develop an understanding of the patient's physical and emotional status
  • Possibly perform mobile imaging and other diagnostic procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required at the time of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Computerized Tomography (CT) training or experience
  • CT certification obtained within two years
