Job Description

Join REACH Medical Holdings as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Concord, CA. In this full-time role, you'll ensure the safety and maintenance of our helicopter fleet, playing a critical part in our air medical transport services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician or Regional Maintenance Manager
  • Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures
  • Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards
  • Sustain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew
  • Facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow AMTs and operations team

Required Qualifications

  • Three (3) Years FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificated experience
  • Three (3) years turbine powered helicopter experience
  • Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
  • Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
  • Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull objects weighing ranging from 10-50 pounds at a time
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 150 pounds cumulative with assistance

Preferred Qualifications

  • EC135 maintenance experience
  • Related experience under CFR Parts 133, 135 and 145
  • Autopilot maintenance experience
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience
  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
