Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Direct daily activities within the department
Facilitate employee orientation and training
Perform area specific QA/QC procedures
Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with the ALARA concept
Assist physicians with radiographic procedures
Perform various operations using radiographic and associated equipment
Maintain patient records via appropriate system
Perform patient care functions in a safe environment
Adhere to hospital and departmental policies and procedures
Interact effectively with all customers
Assist staff and students in the performance of radiographic procedures
Participate in the evaluation of staff and students as needed
Assist with the transportation of patients, maintain work area and perform basic clerical duties
Required Qualifications
Certificate of completion/Degree from an Accredited Radiograph Program
Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
Biennial completion of required CE credits
Licensed by the NJDEPE
Credentialed in radiograph and mammography by the ARRT
Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License
Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech License
CPR certification
