A Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) unit in Petoskey, MI is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The CVU cares for over 4,000 cardiology patients annually, including post-op open heart surgery, PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, bi-ventricular pacemakers, heart failure, and EP studies.

Position Overview

• Provide care for critically ill cardiovascular patients using advanced clinical judgment

• Monitor and manage complex patients including ventilators, balloon pumps, and CRRT

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care, including research and clinical trials

• Float to similar ICU units as needed

• Deliver care in alignment with AACN and CVU best practices

Requirements

Required:

• 1+ year ICU experience (floating not included)

• Comfort with EKG interpretation

• Willingness to float to similar units

• ACLS and BLS current

Preferred:

• Neuro, CVICU, Trauma experience

• Ventilator management

• CRRT and Balloon Pump experience
