City Experiences is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader - Engineering for our Puerto Rico Ferry operation in SAN JUAN.
About the Opportunity:
The Maintenance Team Leader oversees daily maintenance activities, ensuring operational reliability, safety, and quality. This leadership role involves guiding technicians, delegating tasks, and monitoring performance to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Supervise maintenance technicians to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Promote and participate in a safety-first culture, understanding all safety procedures and equipment.
- Implement and monitor Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Develop work orders, assign tasks, and monitor progress.
- Maintain machinery records and support troubleshooting efforts.
- Support safety and operational procedures, including HELM.
- Conduct inspections and support preventive maintenance scheduling.
- Mentor team members, maintain accurate records, and coordinate with other departments.
- Assist with resource planning, performance reviews, and projects.
- Uphold the company's RESPECT Values and Code of Conduct.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
- 3-5 years of maintenance experience; 1-2 years in leadership.
- Strong leadership, technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work in various environments, including lifting and confined spaces.
- High standards of performance, initiative, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
