Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and ascertain the purpose of their visit
  • Schedule client appointments and manage cancellations
  • Enter client information into the electronic medical record system
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails
  • Handle billing processes and verify insurance coverage
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock in reception area
  • Assist with administrative projects and support various departments
  • Abide by HIPAA guidelines

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or 3+ years of front desk, administrative or customer service experience
  • 1+ years of experience in front service desk, administrative assistant or customer service role
  • 1+ years of experience presenting, reading, and interpreting information
  • 1+ years of experience using work-related software including Microsoft Office
  • 1+ years of experience understanding terminology of the mental health field
  • Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in front service desk, administrative assistant or customer service role
  • 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting policy and procedure manuals
  • Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
  • Ability to work independently
