Our San Francisco operations to support United Airlines is growing! We are seeking a dedicated Ramp Safety Clerk to join our team. This is a Field position with responsibility for monitoring driver standard operating procedures (SOP;in addition to maintaining and monitoring employee safety within our buildings. This role will be a blend of 80% in the field (airport ramps) and 20% office. The ideal candidate will have a background in aviation, ramp or safety experience. At Sky Chefs, Safety is our #1 Core Pillar. Schedules: Our operations run 24/7 and you must be flexible to be able to work an alternate schedule (than assigned) when needed. Medical, Dental, Vision ELIGIBLE DAY 1! • Tuition Reimbursement • Vacation, Sick, and Holiday Pay • Responsible for SOP training for all new drivers and re-training of drivers • Ensure all State inspections, registrations and Insurance ID’s for trucks are current • Responsible for ensuring all drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedures • Assist the Ramp Safety Supervisor as needed and perform other clerical duties as assigned 3-5 years of safety experience preferred; AOA ramp experience may be substituted year for year for Safety experience • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and other computer applications • Ability to work with minimum supervision • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with large groups – must be flexible • Open availability, ability to work nights and weekends as operations require •  LSG Sky Chefs is an EEO and Affirmative Action Employer of Women/Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
