Job Description
Aya Locums is seeking a locum General Dentist in Spencer, IA, offering a pay rate of $100/hr to $125/hr for a 13-week assignment. The role involves performing various dental procedures, collaborating with a dental team, and providing comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and diagnose dental conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Perform various dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
Provide preventive dental care and oral hygiene education
Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants
Maintain accurate and complete dental records
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
Active and unrestricted dental license in Iowa
Current BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
At least one year of experience in a dental practice
