Summary

Lincoln Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a Regional Indirect Buyer supporting our corporate Procurement team. What You Will Do

• Review requisitions and execute purchase orders in alignment with sourcing strategies.
• Maintain and update purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Resolve operational purchasing issues, including receiving and invoicing discrepancies.
• Manage vending machine operations and address related issues.
• Function as the liaison between internal departments and suppliers for all indirect purchasing matters.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure optimal value.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure procurement solutions meet requirements.
• Support supplier relationship management and function as a point of contact for inquiries and issue resolution.
• Work closely with the Indirect Strategic Sourcing team to support and implement sourcing strategies for operations and facilities.
• Execute and manage RFPs, RFQs, and eAuctions using the Ariba eSourcing platform.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Contribute to procurement initiatives that support the company’s 2025 strategic goals.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support departmental and organizational success.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum one year Supply Chain experience.
• One year of experience in indirect procurement preferred.
• Experience with Ariba eSourcing platform preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
• Ability to work in a team.
