Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality patient care by providing prescribed medical treatment and physical assessments
Administer medication and treatments as prescribed
Coordinate medical care and intervention with interdisciplinary team members
Follow established safety procedures and report medical errors
Maintain knowledge of professional licensure and healthcare regulations
Participate in staff and inter-agency meetings and quality improvement initiatives
Perform all medical duties including client assessment and treatment follow-ups
Document and audit the medical record for continuity of care
Required Qualifications
Colorado EMT-Paramedic Certification
Basic Life Support Certification
Experience providing care for behavioral health patients
Experience in documentation in relation to clinical care and billing
Preferred Qualifications
Colorado Community paramedic endorsement
Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree
More than three years of experience working as a community paramedic
Experience in coordinating mental health intervention plans and services
