Maximus is seeking an experienced MQ Administrator to support a federal client in mission-critical defense systems. In this role, you will ensure secure, reliable message flow across applications by managing IBM MQ environments, while contributing to the protection of our nation's critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor MQ systems for uptime and performance
Manage security access and permissions for MQ users
Provide first-line troubleshooting for MQ-related issues
Schedule and apply routine updates and patches
Manage backup and recovery operations
Maintain accurate records of MQ configurations and compliance
Required Qualifications
Active Secret clearance
U.S. citizenship (no dual citizenship)
7+ years of experience in an MQ Administrator role or related field
Experience with WebSphere
Ability to accommodate a rotational on-call schedule
