Job Description
Join our acute care team as a PRN Physical Therapist, where you'll assess and treat patients while mentoring staff and contributing to program development. This flexible role allows you to make a significant impact on patient care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patients and develop treatment plans based on evaluations
Document findings and progress, providing instruction to patients and caregivers
Assist with program development and serve as a resource and mentor
Oversee the development and training of assistants, students, and rehabilitation technicians
Examine and evaluate patients' conditions to identify movement and mobility dysfunction
Required Qualifications
Bachelors or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Current license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas
Current Certification in Basic Life Support
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree or residency/fellowship program
One year of experience preferred
Ability to mentor/train staff or supervise clinical interns/students
