ER RN Travel Job Details

• Location: Lawton, OK 73505 (Oklahoma healthcare job)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: December 4, 2025
• End Date: March 5, 2026
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Room (ER)
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: 6 nights in 6 weeks
• On-Call: No call required
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma (OK RN license required)
• Minimum 6 months of recent ER RN experience (1+ year preferred)
• Relevant nursing certifications (preferred, but not required):
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• PALS (American Heart Association)
• TNCC
• NIHSS

Ability to provide recent work history and permanent address upon submission

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Act as a first responder for patients admitted to the emergency room
• Rapidly assess, triage, and prioritize patient care in high-acuity situations
• Deliver immediate nursing interventions to stabilize patients and support life-saving measures
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Maintain composure and efficiency in fast-paced, high-pressure emergency care environments
