Job Title: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment Location: West Hollywood, CA  

Start Date: December 8, 2025  

Duration: 13 weeks  

Shift: Night – 3x12-Hour (19:00–07:00)

 

About the Role A leading neonatal care facility in West Hollywood is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment. This role involves providing specialized care to critically ill neonates in a high-acuity environment. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of NICU experience and be proficient in advanced neonatal care techniques. First-time travelers are not accepted.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates requiring intensive monitoring and intervention
  • Manage ventilators, initiate IVs, and oversee PICC line care
  • Utilize specialized equipment including Phillips monitors, GE Giraffe Omni beds, Medfusion and Alaris infusion pumps, and Timeless breast milk barcoding systems
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support infant development and recovery
  • Adhere to holiday staffing requirements and assist with coverage during peak periods

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
  • BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
  • Familiarity with Epic charting system
  • Willingness to work either Christmas Eve/Day or New Year’s Eve/Day and surrounding dates
  • RTO not to exceed 4 days per week during holiday weeks

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Familiarity with Dr. Brown’s Infant Driven Feeding Program guidelines
  • Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in high-acuity neonatal settings
  • Experience with travel assignments in reputable facilities
