Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for geriatric residents
Adhere to established Standards of Nursing Practices
Follow the organization's policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in becoming a Registered Nurse
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
IV Certification or willingness to obtain within six months
Current CPR/AED Certification or willingness to obtain within six months
Ability to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents
Excellent communication skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Critical thinking skills
