Job Description

Join a multicultural team at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital to provide home-based interventions for young children and their families. You'll have the opportunity to engage in collaborative assessments and help families navigate challenges while receiving support from a dedicated clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engages with families and Child First Care Coordinator in collaborative assessment
  • Develops clinical formulation and Child and Family Plan of Care
  • Provides home-based psychotherapeutic intervention with young children and caregivers
  • Assists caregivers with insights on personal history and parenting practices
  • Averts crisis situations in consultation with Clinical Coordinator
  • Provides mental health and developmental assessment within early care settings
  • Maintains appropriate documentation for clinical accountability

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or M.S. in Counseling
  • Current State of Connecticut licensure or license eligible as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical experience in a psychiatric setting working with young children and families
