Job Description
Join a multicultural team at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital to provide home-based interventions for young children and their families. You'll have the opportunity to engage in collaborative assessments and help families navigate challenges while receiving support from a dedicated clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
Engages with families and Child First Care Coordinator in collaborative assessment
Develops clinical formulation and Child and Family Plan of Care
Provides home-based psychotherapeutic intervention with young children and caregivers
Assists caregivers with insights on personal history and parenting practices
Averts crisis situations in consultation with Clinical Coordinator
Provides mental health and developmental assessment within early care settings
Maintains appropriate documentation for clinical accountability
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or M.S. in Counseling
Current State of Connecticut licensure or license eligible as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC
Preferred Qualifications
Clinical experience in a psychiatric setting working with young children and families
