Key Responsibilities
Detecting, preventing, and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers
Maintaining surveillance from covert positions
Responding to electronic sensor alarms and interpreting physical evidence

Required Qualifications
U.S. citizenship
Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years
Age under 40 years (unless exempt)
Ability to speak and read Spanish
One year of general or specialized work experience or relevant education
Preferred Qualifications
Prior law enforcement or military law enforcement experience
Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (e.g. criminal justice, homeland security)
