Join Methodist Hospital Metropolitan as an Emergency Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator and play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will lead nursing care coordination, support staff development, and ensure the efficient operation of our emergency services.
Key Responsibilities
Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork.
Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
Assists with staff scheduling and manages staff labor in accordance with patient care needs.
Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 90 days of employment)
Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (must be obtained within 60 months of employment)
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training (must be obtained within 60 months of employment)
PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (must be obtained within 90 days of employment)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (must be obtained within 60 months of employment)
Registered Nurse Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree, or Associate Degree
