Job Description
Join New Directions Mental Health as a Child and Adolescent Therapist, where you will provide culturally sensitive therapy to children and families, fostering resilience and healing while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families
Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy
Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness plans
Participate in case consultations and agency meetings
Ensure timely completion of billing and documentation
Engage in collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field
Experience in working with children and families
Provisional license per state regulation (if required)
Educational background leading to professional licensing
Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
Excellent communication skills
